BCVAULT is 'Agentless' on most systems. This means that there's nothing to install on servers or desktops that require backing up. This means minimal work in setup, less server 'overhead' and reduced security risk. If you're running something like Active Directory, you can set permissions in that.

Microsoft Exchange has no integrated means of providing Message Level restore - BCVault has an agent that enables this. Agents are also available to provide efficient backup for Oracle and SQL databases.
